Hello, l I need some help with my truck. I have code P0263 contribution /balance fault popping up on me, also code U0306. Not sure what it could all be and it is only on the #1 cylinder. I also have an Edge Juice with Attitude tuner. Things I have tried already are replacing FICM, swapping out the injector and applying pressure to the injector harness. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

 

Have you tried clearing the codes and drive around to see if they come back? If you have access to a AE you could run the CCT and see if it is #1 injector not contributing as much as the rest are. Doing a Buzz test will help also.

Ditch the Edge tuner, return it to stock, clear the codes and take the truck for a spin and see if your problems continue. Tuners more often than not make with little problems you might have...worse. And for the record, Edge tuners and the 5R110 (tranny) aren't know for a long lasting relationship.

 

If the FICM, harness, injector are all good I would have a compression test done. you could have a piston or valve issue.
