New truck pics - 2012 Screw XLT HD
My new truck arrived at the dealer on Wednesday last week I went in that evening to see it and take some pics. It is currently getting rear wheelwell liners, spash guards, FX4 head/taillights and Line-X Premium bedliner and I will be picking it up either tomorrow or Wednesday night.
I only had my phone on hand, although it (Samsung Galaxy S2) has an 8MP camera which didn't do that bad a job in the relatively low light in the shop. I'll break out the digital SLR for a good photo session once the truck is home. Without further ado....
Can't complain with 2250lbs payload! Also, note the build date of February 6, 2201202065990, at the bottom of the registry sticker.
6.5km on the odometer, or 4.0 miles.

Congrats, very nice!
Weird though, my truck didn't have that plastic wrapped around everything on the inside. Maybe because yours was shipped to Canada?
Mine was delivered on a Monday evening, after hours (I know because I contacted the shipping company, and had talked to the dealer minutes before closing). And I went there the next morning before they opened, so I am sure I saw my truck as dropped off from the shipping truck.
Mine had 2.9 miles on the Odo.

Jonbar, since it has the HD payload option, it's an LSD and it only comes with the 6.5' bed.

Thanks everyone, I can't wait to pick it up on Wednesday! Yes it was very awesome seeing it all virgin with the plastic on everything. Sure wish I could have seen my '68 Galaxie convertible in that form!
Intake, step bars, WeatherTech mats and possibly a Peragon tonneau cover are the first additions I'd like to make. Eventually duals will follow, I just can't bring myself to hack up a brand new exhaust...the stock system isn't bad anyway, for now. Thinking of 87 octane economy and performance tunes one day as well.
Flixden is correct. Here in Canada the trailer towing mirrors are available as a standalone option. I just checked them off when I did the factory order. There are a few subtle differences in the options between US and Canada orders. Like how the US "XLT Chrome Package" is called the XTR here, and has its own decal on the box in the same spot where the 4x4, FX2/FX4 badges are found. There are a TON of XTRs on the lots and roads around here, mostly Screw 5.5'.

Pics on taking delivery
xrPicked up the truck around 6:30pm yesterday.....WOW it is such a treat to drive. Everything I expected and much more. Power delivery from the 5.0 is seamless. I got into it a few times (~4000 rpm, I want to load it up a little but not wind it right out during break-in) and it put a huge grin on my face every time. Racked up 100 miles last night just cruising around town and the surrounding countryside, I couldn't leave it alone. Driving is finally enjoyable again!
The only issue upon delivery: the paint bubbles are there in the roof drain channels. I'm not too bugged about it since it's such a widespread problem that I'm sure Ford is eager to rectify it.
Here it is, dressed up a little with my $1K of included accessories, and Line-X Premium bedliner. I am VERY pleased with the FX4/Harley Davidson headlights, and how they look against the Pale Adobe paint.
