Funny how hills you drive everyday are a big deal when towing. Coming back from the lake today I hit 220 ECT, 230 EOT on a steady hill on a highway I commute to and from work on. Temps came right down as I went down and leveled off. Yes, the fan was on and quickly brought it down to 204 back to 207/ and the oil followed to 223 then 218.
Went out to do an evening grocery run and had the following temps: IAT-104*, ECT-102*, EOT-102*. I think that my sensors are registering fine for 8:30 PM.
I don’t have OAT selected (if an option on the Edge CTS), but the National Weather Service had us at 98* and falling at 2000 hrs. This is down from 106* at 1600hrs.
Red Flag conditions all day with some gnarly fires to go with them. We have even made the Weather Channel and national news (again).
You don't have the display option in the truck options? The sensor is the one that is behind the grill that sticks up
on the left side over near the air filter but on the outside.
Well today I got the bed off the other truck with the cherry picker and that is how I should of done it at the start.
I got some safety chains to hook to the tie down in the 4 corners. Then I used the engine tild adaptor to balance
the load and remove it from all the cribbing I had it siting on. It's nice and dafe now and centered on the cart.
NOTE : We have rain right now and seems to be blowing sideways.
