Sadly the two I would think of asking have left us behind.

What did do today to my truck?
I got nice new tires and will be selling the almost new 20" things.
The rims will need to be reconditioned because the chrome is flaking
off from the crap on the roads here and from not getting washed off
after driving in the salt and snow.

The new tires make that truck so smooth now and I can hear the engine running.

I will say that HPOP cover is a real pain in the *** with the EGR cooler there, and the heat shield sucks. Next time the y pipe is getting loosened from the manifolds, unless someone knows of a better way?

The pros make it look so easy in the vids, they just pull it out and slip it back in. Not sure what the secret is.
I learned that on Magnolia Tom's 2006 F350...his was 2wd though. The second time I did it was on my buddy's 2007, but I was doing an egr delete and oil cooler at the same time, so while the intake manifold was out, I had full access to the HPOP cover and the surrounding area. The only pain I had to worry about was the heat shield. A tip that works well for the turbo is to grind off the lip where the third mounting point on the turbo goes. I've had more problems seating a turbo with that there than without it. As DTR also suggests, for ease of reinstallation, grind down the passenger side tab on the cover. It makes a world of difference installing it and allows for considerably less curse words.

I had actually thought about doing that TD, just hate being a hack but then honestly that one bolt missing won't make that much difference with the other two holding it on.
I guess that would allow that extra 1/8" of play to get it past things, literally I think that is all I needed to make a hard job a little easier. I do know I did it on an 05 last year and it went back in better after I ground it down, just hated doing it.

Took a good bit of priming since I had the passenger side rail off to get the SP replaced, and had installed a factory cap and oil filter--had to get that dang Wix outta there. 6 sessions of 10 second cranking with starter cool downs, makes one a bit impatient. Was sure nice to see some oil under the ICP that sixth time

There are two styles of pedestals, though.

Any chance you guys could markup an image of a pedestal to see the mod?

This is the 2004+ style, I know the 2003 ones are different.

It's in the top middle of the screen, that's what you grind down. Turbo slips right in every time.

I took out the stock exhaust and installed a turbo back 4" Diamond eye system with an Aero 4040XL exhaust.

Many hours, beers, a 3rd degree burn (hot sawzall blade) 4 drill bits, and much cursing later....

Got it in and man what a difference. Sounds amazing, Turbo and when you get on it, and no cab drone.

Its worth it but what a PITA

Could you post a video? Interested in what it sounds like with that muffler.

Changed the oil. And forgot to do something for someone.
The oil had been in less than 300 miles but it was the stuff
that Ford had put in and when it drained out talk about nasty
black and the mess it left in the drain pan was worse that I
have seen in the past. I got the last 2 gallons of Delo CJ-4
at the local WallyWorld. So I mixed it with of the old T6 I
had.

Now for the question I was asked. Brown Falcon, The pipe is 4"
I took that mesurment at about where the muffler would of been
and all the rest looks about the same size past that point.

Cool. Lets see what we can do for ourselves.

Anyone seen that oil centrifuge system? Even without extending the oil
change milage it would be good to remove all the soot from the oil in the
engine, Maybe get some more miles out of it.

Found the thing >>> http://www.dieselcraft.com/engine-oil.php
