I apologize if this sort of question has been posted before or I'm posting in the wrong area but I'm hoping to get a quick answer.

Basically I have a 2008 King Ranch F-150 that needs a new alternator, battery and belt (also needs an oil change). The auto repair shop quoted the total costs to be $1000. I know very little about repair costs so I wanted to see if anyone would know if this is reasonable, slightly expensive or just absurd.

I'd really appreciate any feedback on this.
