Brake pedal travel, seems excessive to me

I have got a query, how far should my brake pedal travel?
I have a 400/C6 4x4 F150 Ranger XLT 1977.
I have fitted a new master cylinder, new rear wheel cylinders, new rear brake shoes and re-kitted the front calipers.....yet my pedal nearly travels to the floor, so what gives? Is this normal?
Cheers,
Shane

Does not sound (NORMAL), could still be alot of air still in the lines or the back shoes need to be adjusted.

Then rebleed starting with the furthest point, usually the right rear then left rear the r/f and l/f.
