I hope it went in fairly easy. Looks good with the motor back in it.

I got mine torn down the rest of the way today after I calmed down with a couple beers.

Went to the local Pick a Part today and scored big time!
I got a 3G alternator, not real sure about the specs on it I need to do some research but it is labeled "Built by Aurora", maybe someone here has some info on it?

It is nice to get the external regulator and associated wiring. Really cleaned up the bay. I also rerouted the engine and EFI harnesses low on the firewall and around back of the engine. I had the shop that made my brake lines make me a braided stainless steel external oil line, not taking any chances.

Also found a set of manual hubs, I had to use the Warns that came with my axle on the F250 when one of the caps went missing.

I will be cleaning these up and painting the ***** when I clean up the rotors.
Picked these up for $62, not too shabby.

Wiring looks pretty clean, eh Greg?

Looking good Dave. Doesn't look like you found the scrub brush.

Any idea what the 3g came out of? That will help you figure some of the specs. I think the Ford Taurus had a 3g but it was a low amperage.

It came out of a Sable, it is atleast a 135 Amp due to the housing but it looks to be a custom built unit. The car it came from had an alarm system and looked to possibly have a system. Thought maybe someone had heard of this Aurora company.

Personally I don't know the company, I don't know much about the 3g in general. I tried googling it but didn't get any results.

This is deja vu, I could have sworn I have done this before...
Spent a couple of hours tonight getting the core support put together, I am sure there will be some minor tweeking when the hood goes back on.

This one tight engine! oil pressure is amazing and I love the way it just stops when it shuts down. Hopefully going to exhaust next weekend!!!
I also have a video of the break in, damn I relieved everything went well.

Huge progress today with Greg's help, plan was to do a shake down run but that didn't happen.
The power steering pump isn't work, I am pretty sure I messed up the check valve when I reassembled it, I will draining it tonight and see what I did wrong.

Anyhow on to the fun.
Got the hood back on, needs some adjusting.
Got all of the mounts and suspension torqued down
got some fine tuning on the fuel mixture done
Got some other misc nuts and bolts stuff done

She was able to move under it's own power for the fist time in over 3 years!

She is a BIG girl lol

About 6" too tall to fit in the garage
