Did you just go gravity flow and it works fine?

I have talked to Ray at RDS also, a really nice guy and he bends over backwards to help you. Maybe that's why I have bought two tanks from them.

This is an old topic but I'd like to get feedback if anyone has done a gravity feed install of an RDS tank into a rear of axle tank on a chassis cab. It's a 84 CA setup and the aux tank would be on front side of the 84, with the factory tank in the rear. Looks to be about 109 inch run with an approx 6-6.5 inch drop. Approx a 5% slope for the fluid to transfer through.... is that enough?

Slope can actually be negative, as long as the hose stays below the top level of the fuel in the aux tank. The pressure in the tank will push the fuel all the way up a hose as far as the top of the fuel level. So if you run your line under the bottom of the aux tank, there'd be no worries. The principle has been used for centuries as water levels. See illustration link below.
