anyone paint their hub caps?
i noticed that most vans look better with black wheels.
i didnt want to be ghetto and paint it all black so a little masking, i going to fill the ford with blue paint so they look stock. well thats the plan. alot of prep work but they came out ok for hubbys.
ps. wheres a cheap place to buy used ones?

BBasso----what brand and style are those wheels? I like 'em myself!
Wiz that's a cool look and a good job on achieving it too! Best thing is you now know the process and when they need refreshed you'll have it done in no time.

Hey Red---thanks for the ID! For some reason I like the slotted look on the alloy wheels. Then again I'm running the stock steel wheels and dog dish covers. When they're clean and not dented up or rusted they look okay but not quite as stylish of course.
Wiz I'm wondering if a small blue oval logo couldn't be fitted to the centers of your covers? That might be a subtle offset, a small detail that still adds a lot?
Still a good looking job!

Oh man. This picture is exactly what I was looking for. Did you paint the hub silver, or is that a cap on them? Also, I know this thread is a million years old but it lives forever because internet!
