If you need inj's then it is time to get the ones you want. I wouldnt waste money or the time it takes to change them w/o stepping up. You seem to have the gauge install down judging by the pics of your Bronco. So get the stg 1's and get the pyro as well as the pump upgrades you are considering. You will get higher temps from the bigger sticks , but , not anything crazy from just daily driving. If you do a lot of towing you will see the pyro climbing at times. However, you have control of the skinny pedal so its not like you are going to cook something down .

Pics from 1st day

This is how she looked when I 1st bought it.

Who ever install the gauges did a poor job, The Oil pressure gauge leaked oil into the radio, and carpet and in the dash and HVAC controls

Removing the running board and what was left of the other one, and intalling the Glasspack

Bruno-Thats exactly how I feel, I live in the 'burbs, So Im not hauling tri-axle horse trailer through the mountains lol. The only things I towed are my dads Astro van and my buddies S10 when they broke down. No towing in my normal plans. My driving is pretty relaxed, Though I do like to drown the skinny in the carpet. I love the 20 plus mpg from a 6000lb diesel truck. So I usually drive to acheive that.

John, I totally agree with you on the BFG ATs lol. But check these out:

I paid $50.00 bucks for ALL 4. 60-70% tread left on all of them. It was a deal I couldnt pass up. considering that both of the front tires on my F250 were low on tread, and one blew a belt anyway lol.

I wouldn't put stage 1's in an N/A engine. Going to spray more than you can burn.

Current pics

Here It sits next to my Bronco, Was replacing ground straps on it, and goin over it.

As you can see, It has a 87-97 bed on it. I will swap to a correct style bed when I find a clean one.

you can see the damage on the door and along the bedside. It was sideswiped by someone when the PO had it. He did the repairs himself.

If you need bondo, let me know, I have plenty lol. Not to worried, since I plan on getting rid of the bed. and I already have a replacement door.

Other than the body damage, this is the worst spot on the body. although the core support is rotting out. I love southern trucks lol

Interior

Heres a few shots of the interior, The front seats are out of some coversion van. Not bolted in the best, Ill have to get a shot of that lol.
Ill end up swapping in some factory buckets or split bench with a console.

And the dash is in real good shape, other than the central speaker hole is cut open like every other one. does anyone have a dash clock like this? It has a Red LCD display

And where I mounted my new gauges.

Dude.... i want your license plate cover... like yesterday. Good lookin truck for an 84 As for pump and injectors.. hard to say, personally if i knew i was going to turbo it id get the turbo pump and stage 1's, see if ken would detune the pump to NA output and keep your foot out of it if it likes to get hot. Or.. well you could go ahead and put the turbo on it now haha. If youre handy with a welder can get your hands on some pipe, a build your own turbo swap isnt all that hard. I have all of about $325 into mine, turbo, pipe, everything, damn air filter was $40

That's is a really nice looking old truck man. Its pretty clean. I'm glad you are swapping that bed to the right one. That drives me nuts with it different. Lol. As for the turbo, there are quite a few guys that run low boost with that high of miles. But one thing to remember is that if the head gasket is going, it will speed it going out a lil faster.

Is it customary for people to run head studs on these when adding a turbo? I was thinking these have the same block as the DI motors. If so they have plenty of head bolts to hold a head in place, unless you are going to run some wicked high boost.

i think the ONLY thing that the IDI and DI share is displacement @7.3L. other than that they are not even close to being the same.

don't hold me to that though.
