1965 F100 I-6 radiator (pictures)

I have a picture of my radiator. I would appreciate opinions about:

-Is this the original radiator?
-How does it look?

Thanks.

Not a tech; but if its leaking have a local radiator shop fix it; also can't tell by the pic beyond it being a 65 TA number; I would say its a oem style rad; also you should have what I call a block off plate if its a 6 cid radiator verses a v-8. As I mention I can't tell from you pic.

No, not leaking. My truck runs a little hot, and I'm trying to decide what to do. I was just making sure this is the original and see if the oxidation on it or whatever was normal or a problem.

Thanks.

water pump? does the temp increase while sitting still, then drop back down when you're on the road?

Marked: C5TA-H = Ford part number: C5TZ-8005-AC .. Standard Cooling Radiator.

Applications: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD/4WD 240/300 I-6 / 1965 F350 w/SRW 240/300 I-6 / Service Part Replacement: 1961/64: F100/250, F350 w/SRW 223 I-6 & F100/250 262 I-6.

Note: 1965 F100/250 352 2WD, 1966 F100 352 4WD radiator is not only different, but does not have these same applications. Does not fit 1966, because the flanges are in a different location.

1966 F100/250 2WD 352 radiator will not fit 1965's, different flanges, different radiator support than 1965.

Yes, it rises more while sitting still. On cooler days, it runs between 180-190. During the summer, it gets up to 220.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to start by just flushing the system, and have a radiator shop test the radiator.

Thanks numberdummy as well for the information.
