HELP PLEASE!!!
whats going on forums i just joined cause i need help badly..
i just purchased a 2002 f150 5.4l the other day.. the guy i bought it from told me the "DONUT" where the header meets the exhuast was rotted an needed to be changed so it has an exhaust leak an sounds like a diesel which is annoying.
so today i started doing the work on the truck cleaning an all oil change then finally was going to fix the exhaust..
well i look under the passenger side manifold long behold its missing 1 bolt at the rear which is why im asumming its leaking so bad so he was wrong.. well its gets worse , the bolt next it is completely rusted an looks like its getting ready to break an i want to to take it off an replace it to hopefully get rid of this exhaust leak..
BUT now i need to know what do i do if i try to take that bolt of an it snaps in the head? how should i go about taking it off...
an also where do i buy NEW exhaust manifold bolts? dealer? an anyone have a part number or anything? an what they run?
please help me asap i wanna get this issue fixed!

You can try to drill a hole in the broken stud with the manifold on and try to use the easy out. I think its to riskey with it on cause you can't really see what's going on.
I thought you just bought the truck? You want to sell it already? Not because of the leak is it.

Man I wish you live close to me I would give you a hand...cause i hate to see you give a truck up for this.

I'm just not confident in doing it. I'm scared of drilling into the broken stud an hitting the walls an messing up the threads. I'm scared of drilling to deep an hitting something inside I honesty dont want to be bothered with this right now. I bought the truck cause I thought it was good a a minor exhaust leak , I look under it an see that gap in manifold an head an a broken stud in the head an now it gunna cost money to get fixed that I don't have right now. Anyone In NYC that can help me PLEASE?!? I'll buy a lot of beer an pizzas!=]. Cause I'm at the point of selling this truck
