59 60 1/2 ton Wheels and hubcaps ?

Just a quick question, on a 1960 1/2 ton with original wheels do the hubcaps clip on the outside of the wheel center or have the "innie nubs" that hold the cap on like the earlier 40's-50's type 16" wheel?

I thought they popped on over (outside clips or nubs) but was talking with someone today about the set of 16" wheels with the innie nubs they had and he said he was putting them on his 60? Sure he can do that but just curious what was original??

Thanks for your time.

Josh

They're "innies".In fact, they'd be innies all the way through '64 - I think.

Did a search and brought this up for info purposes. Look at post #5 in particular.

Fixed it for both of y'all.

1966 was the last year for 15" 'innie' wheels for F100's / 15" outie wheels introduced in 1965 for F100's.

Since 15" wheels became standard equipment for F100's in 1955, I was referring to 15's.

16" wheels were optional for 1955/79 F100's (1975/79 F150's). The last year for 16" innies was 1965.
