Put a set of injectors in a 06 SD F-350 yesterday. took about 2 minutes of cranking to start, had a good buzz with coeo. ran great. turned it off to check the restart. let it set for a min. had to crank for 30 seconds before it restarted. tried several times with same results.
my back was hurting so i called it a day. later that night i remembered i had forgotten to plug the mass air flow and minder back up,,, that had to be it !!! the next morning, sure enough i forgot. pluged them back up, checked everything again. turned the key on and got a faint hint of a buzz ? fuel pump ran normal. tried again and again before i ever tried to start it. just a fraction of a second of buzz... cranked on it for about 30 sec with no start.
any ideas, i sordered the ficm 3 months ago,oil change and fuel filters yesterday.

You need to drive it roughly 5 miles to work the air out of it. Until then, it will have a hard start.
The buzz doesn't matter unless your running a test. Sometimes mine is really loud, sometimes I can't hear it. But it always starts and runs like a champ. I had a long start on mine two days after a injector change once. Just burping the truck can take some time in the drivers seat is all.
truck starts and run great. forman is on the way to pick it up and will be traveling 100 miles a day to and from the jobsite.... i'll give it a few days and go from there. had a sister truck with a leaking water pump and a leaking egr cooler hose,, So I Have Spent The Whole Weekend Working On 6.0's
