Check out the chrome plated running boards... try to afford to do that nowadays!! Kinda makes you wonder what happens to alot of tese cars that are showcased in the older magazines...

i like it also . my grill in dain near perfect shape was gonna start out at $ 1,400 and would most likely go up in price as work continued on it , to chrome it , so .................

You would be surprised just how many Custom Trucks were around in the late 50s and 60s - Most were Ford and Chevys from the mid 50's

look around i put up a post of some custom trucks i found on kustomrama's site not too long ago guy's and they were sweet !!!!!!!!!! i'll see if i can locate it and bump it up for ya's .

Exactly, and not just trucks. Peeps were customizing 1949 Merc Coupes from day one, turning them (and 1950/51's) into lead sleds.

The rocker panels were only a few inches from the pavement. Take a look-see in 1950's issues of Hot Rod, Rod & Custom, Speed Age and etc.
