Don't be sorry, I literally meant, I have no idea how to be more clear when it comes to giving instructions on how to order the deeper cup holder. So, I just repeated myself.

I had the same problem with the 2000 cup holder... it sucked and was really good for nothing. I went to a lacal juck yard and got one out of a 2003 model and it works great.

Is yours the gray or parchment cup holder? Trying to figure out the correlation between the last three characters of the part number and the color (either AAA = gray , or AAA = parchment).

Got it, thanks for the response. Will get one ordered right away. It will be nice to use those holders for something besides a set of keys or some loose change.

Uh-oh! I hope I'm getting the proper part. This is what I ordered:

Collision Catalog - 2003 - Ford - EXCURSION
body hardware, console, floor console, cup holder front, parchment
I ordered mine on 4/18 and got shipping notification today. In today's world, I would say it took longer than average to ship the item. IMO, should have shipped on by 4/20 at latest.

I'll post up when I receive it.

I think that's the rear "cup holder" on the center console.

Nah, the rear cup holder has 2 deeper cup holders and a small storage slot. At least that is how it is in my Excursion. I think I kinda like this tray better than the cup holder. I still have the in-dash cup holders and my cell phone and pocket junk fit right in the tray. So, for me it was a mistake in the right direction.
