I have a 1964 F100 with silver bottlecap inside hubcaps. I have heard that the argent silver is the color that I should paint the hubcaps with red Ford painted in middle. The wheels I asume are painted white on the outside and black on the inside portion is that correct. Thanks David

 

this is the wheel and hubcap i went with in my 64 check out wheel vintages wed site

 

The wheels were painted all white or all black, not tu-toned. There are two different colors of bottlecap hubcaps.

Painted white with red FORD letters, painted argent with red FORD letters. Custom Cabs came with stainless steel hubcaps with black FORD letters.

The stainless hubcap has been reproduced, the painted versions have not.

The hubcap pictured in post #2 is 6A-1130-A = 1947/48 Ford Passenger Cars, 1948/52 F1, 1953/56 F100.
