The way I see it is:

#1 We need to get together,
Currently I am deployed but also my truck needs some work to be road worthy when I get back. The guys in north Ga could get together and the south guys could too. Maybe once a month. Then one big state get together a year? Never been real big on paying dues.

#2 We can do car shows- Moultrie- Daytona-Local Christmas parades?
My goal it to make mine a driver but also like to show too.

#3 Get more members
I think danger ranger was on to something with the sticker idea, or a business card to put under the wiper with the web site info. A t-shirt with the GA club info on the back and your screen name on the front? I see a ton of old ford trucks in the south GA area.

#4 A monthly news e-letter or sticky?
This would include meeting times and places, maybe Junk yard listings. A welcome to new members. Upcoming events. Parts GA people have for sale? Maybe let other people know when you are working on your ride and need a helping hand?

I am open to suggestions, feed back. Maybe a vice pres from up north?
There are times when I will be gone for my job, like now, or a 5 week school in FEB of 13.

First of all thank you for your service to our country- Thanks Kool !!! No better job in the world.

First off, HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Next;
I would have to agree about the separate get togethers for the north and south, maybe monthly or every two months.

Maybe we should have a couple of vice-presidents (or helpers), for when you are out of town, or need help, or some such.

I like the sticker idea, also the business cards (Vista Print is pretty inexpensive), and t-shirts would be nice too.

We have a car show in downtown Acworth on the 31st of this month (March).

I believe that you are only allowed 5 stickies at the top of the chapter page. One of which will be the buy/sell/trade sticky.

And thanks for your service to our great country.

Occupational hazard.

You sure you want to have a Chapter Leader and he has the ugliest truck? First thing I am going to do is replace the rear end and work on the brakes. Runs good just needs some love. You can say under construction.

I am bad at remembering names, so I was thinking your real name big and then screen name under it?

Let me know.

How about when you get enough post to put up a signature, that you put your name first on that.... see mine.

I think we should also have everyone put their city/town and state in the "Location" spot.

That would be great for you guys down south. But it's a little far for me, especially with the price of gas right now..

Grubb,
To answer your question I have the following.

My Toys: 1974 F250 Camper Special & 1993 Full Size Bauer Bronco
Daily Driver: 2002 Tundra
Sons Car: 92 Camry
My Empress's car: 2001 Town Car

Amazingly the oldest vehicle has the least miles. It sat in a barn for 23 years until I found it last year.

Ok Come get me Mother I am through now. That makes 25

I am out of the country right now anyway. That place is a blast, been 2 times and loved every minute. Just throwing options out there.

Have you done anything with it? Like maybe a disc brake conversion, or power steering, or anything like that?

Yep a little. It was a Father/Son project so we did what little we know how to do. Remove rust not too bad most of it topical. The worst was inside the cab where a hole was in the floorpan behind the seat (old slider window leaked for years). I taught the 16 year old fun with fiberglass to patch. Rattle can sprayed the rest of the floor pan with bed liner. Changed the interior color from Yeller to rattle can white. Replaced rear slider window & Front Glass. Recovered bench seat with upholstery kit from LMC. Removed 10,000 pound Tailgate and bought a flimsy aftermarket. New Rancho Shocks, New Firestone 16.5 rubber. New stock manifolds, stainless to Magnaflows and tipped. Chrome Radiator Shroud. Shelby Blue on topside down to styleside molding and Ford Hi Performance White below.

That's not all, but I see everyone's eyes glazing with boredom.
