too many projects...not enough time

I have been eating with my eyes and am backed up on truck projects in hand and a few more on my wish list.

install sulastic's
finish meth injection
finish cold air intake
run some accessory wiring
mod my AFE fuel pump

redue parts of my lift

add more banks stuff

so I decide to retire so I will have more time to play with toys. notice given

good luck with that, "other people" don't always accept the fact you are retired.

Congrats on retirement!

Good luck with the sulastic's. I truly hope they last for you. I gave them two tries, and they broke both times after being run for a while despite following their instructions to the tee.

After a few months of retirement my dad told me: now that I am retired I thought that I would have time for all the things that I wanted to do. Now I am more busy than when I was working, that I cannot even find time to go fishing! I have been retired since 2013 and have found that this is true! Good luck and glad that you made it to retirement. Hope you find the time to do the projects that you want to do.

5 more years for me!!! 15 more for my wife since she is 10 years younger. Makes it easy for the insurance part. Enjoy it while you can!

I've got at least another 2 years, can go 4 more to max out but time will tell...

Then the wife says I either have to get a part time job or get a serious hobby!

you will become a tricky math expert by the time you retire.

I am now haunted with rules and calculation factors

a. job retirement pension qualifications
b. SS eligibility calculations and rules...66 and 10 months for full...62 for early...prorated if in between...if going for early...you cant make more than 20K in a year...so the year you retire you have to watch the earnings per month so you dont get zapped...getting zapped is the redution in SS benifets...for every 3 you make..SS is reduced by 1....then theres the full SS elegibility rules...in the year you retire you are limted to about 58K ...if you exceeed that..then SS is reduced 1 for every 2 dollars. Im told you get the reductions back after your full retirement age so its not the end of the world. then SS asked me if I made more than 1700 in any given month in 20203...why I dont know. we will see what happens. then theres the matter of part pension refunds since I waited til 64 to retire instead of 57. they are going to refund me a good chunk of change and im not clear is the refunbd counts towards the SS yearly limit. I am going to scream.
c. my pension pays 3/4th of the entitle ment until they finish an audit...5 to 8 months later they give you the re-occuring final amount plus the 25% they did not give you from the start.
d. sounds like I need an IRA to to roll over the pension refund no one is sure if SS will count towards the cap...then pull out below the cap for a few years.

I need an aspirin and a beer.

its 3:40 right now. 4:00 is my exist interview. my last day.
