I remember the 10/25/1992 when my father took me to our parking spot and showed me the brand new Bronco... I was 12 and he told me: "this one will be yours" ... i think i was so excited i couldn't sleep that night...
White fading? Eh i guess i can see it getting a duller flat white look. When i do TGM i planned on doing a flat green/black combo. I want the same colors but with the flat paint so scratches aren't as harsh looking. Flat white looks awesome too.
I too have mechanical problems to take care of before i tackle paint. And i have some cancer rust in places. I also do like shiny paint a lot but i think a flat color is just as cool. It looks almost shiny but not shiny.
Lol i really don't care much about shiny/matte, the issue is i get pretty dirty fixing the truck, then i lean somewhere, grab any part of the truck and voila, a fine print of my greasy hand somewhere in the body... Annoying as hell...

Ah yes haha, i see this a lot on the cars i wash at work, finger prints all over the hood and fender from the techs. We have a solvent that gets it off lickity split, or we use a Windex like window cleaner.
Excellent Bronco for its miles. One question (and I am sure you will hear this a lot when driving it around) Where is OJ? Since you are in Washington, you can get it dirty, and nobody would even know. Seriously though, excellent find.

This is true, the rain creates havoc on keeping mud on the bronco
