Anyone run'n Lucas 15-40
Not sure what to do with it. Acquired it, by doing some preventative maintenance to a friends 7.3. He's all about Lucas, from what i'm seeing. Me on the other hand, from reading multiple threads about there additives, i'm not to sure about their dino oil. Thats why i ask, is it alright to run. I'm thinking, i'l be ready for an oil change around the start of Summer (early/mid MAY). I'm running an oil by-pass setup, so with the oil being FREE, i dont think i'll try to extend this oil by any means, just its normal 5-6k run....(burning T-6 as i speak).

Cant say if its good or bad, but I'm a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" kinda dude. I get real leary anytime I change brands on any of my components.
Everytime I feel maybe I'm just being paranoid, and change brands (three days ago I put a Borg Warner CPS in my truck, due to hearing they are the second best behind the orginal black), I end up walking the last mile to work because the new CPS quit.
So, I wouldn't change over until a hear from a dozen or so "reputable" truck owners are running it first with zero problems.
