help

I was offered a transmission with the following:

We offer two heavy duty rebuilds the stage one or the stage two. The stage one comes with high energy clutches, up graded sprags, hardened shell, transgo shift kit, billet torque converter for 1899.

The stage two comes with a zpack for 2nd gear all steel planets, stage two trango shift kit, a multi clutch billet torque converter, and a trucool cooler rated over 25,000 GVW for 2495.

my question is that I do little mudding and tow a large trailer. I have no clue on the transmission and know that I need to get a new one since mine is shot..if anyone knows which one would be the better of the two for my truck...

I have a 2000 F350 crew cab with a 8" lift and 37" tires on it..and a 7.3 liter diesel moter that is strong as ever..

I would opt for the stage one. Specially for the price.

Do you intend to keep this truck for a long time?

If so, I would go with the stage two. The combo of a heavy trailer, and 37" tires, is working your tranny harder than it was designed for.

transmission

I am planning on keeping this beast for a long time...and I have opted for the stage two....but then I just got a good deal from Jasper..the HD tranny with a 3 yr 100,000 mile warranty...built the same as the one with the stage two and thehy will cover me anywhere...sold
