66 Ford f-100 with a 3/4 suspension.

In 1966 is it possible to order a f-100 with a 3/4 ton suspension. I have been hearing from my Friend that works for Ford that the truck I own is a "Heavy Half Ton"?

I believe there were 2 different spring rates available, but the heavier spring rate was not equivalent to a 3/4 ton. Also, the 3/4 tons had 8 lug wheels. NumberDummy will chime in with the correct info.
