Hi all, i'm trying to find out what colour trim i have in my f100 as i want to vinyl paint some parts. going by the trim code its either D or O, its a 1984 model. i do know its tan but not certain what type. i did buy a buckskin tan vht paint which is to light. i don't know if vht do any other tan colours so any advice would be good. thanks.

 

Where did you get that code?

On the label on the door jamb, there should be a 3-digit code on the BODY box (down at the bottom edge of the label) post that code.

However, I just looked, I'm not gonna be able to find anything more than "Tan" as a color....

Thanks mate, i just done a bit of digging here on one of our ford forums and have found out it is desert tan that i'm after. sorry about any inconvenience. i have found some usa places that sell this, so thanks.
