Stock Suspension to 4in Skyjacker Lift

Hey guys i have a guy interested in my stock 03 F250 suspension, he currently has an 06 F250 with a 4in skyjacker lift that he would like to swap me for all hardware included. He wants to swap because he bought a fifth wheel and wants to return to stock as i am wanting to lift mine since i wont be pulling anything... With that im looking for some help as in what i would need to do after lifting my truck as in a different gearing? or so on and if this would even work swapping an 03 to 06... Thanks.

That swap ain't gonna work. You have leaves in front, he has coils.

the modify would be be a coil spring conversion...if you want lift on a budget look at mini spring packs they are around a $100 or longer front rear shackels they are around $50 or maybe an add a leaf in front around $75, Newton lifts (you can find them on eBay) has a kit for $300 or so that comes with a 3" mini spring pack for front and a bigger block (your choice of size) in back also comes with track bar spacers to help with axle shift

Thanks for the advice man, i was just looking to grab a deal on that seeing as it would cost $600 to swap from one truck to another... But i really dont want to mess with a coil conversion or half *** the lift.. I will just have to bite the bullet eventually on a new 3-4in lift since im playing on running 18-20in wheels and 31-33in tires... So well will se what comes first.

none of those would really fall under half *** just more economical especially if only a small amount of lift is desired...are you looking to lift to run 31-33" tires? I would`nt think you would need any lift at all my truck has 35' tires on it with no lift at present and the tires only rub slightly on inside of fenders

I imagine your running stock 16in wheels though correct? I am going to be running min 18in wheels or 20in at most with 33's.. I want ZERO rub esp if its on the inner fender. I imagien i could squeeze by with a 2 in leaf spring kit from skyjacker... But why stop there?

wont work. as listed above, the cost to make a coil spring lift kit fit your truck would make swapping his used stuff for yours pointless..

sorry.

My wheels are aftermarket 16x8, wheel diameter is not important rather wheel width for fitment purposes 18 or 20's don't make a difference its gonna be how wide and the offset...if you're only wanting 33's at most and ZERO rub a leveling lift is all you need when I say mine rub the inner fender Im refering to the plastic inside part at the back of the fenderwell and barely at that on full lock...I saw a 08 2wd superduty with a leveling lift on 24" rockstars with 38" kuhmo mud tires don't think what you want would need a 4" lift
