92 f150 fan shroud mounting

I just replaced the radiator on my 92 with the 5.0 and also upgraded to the max cooling dual core. When going to reattach the shroud, the 2 mounting screws do not have anywhere to attach to the new radiator. Double checked the parts at a few parts stores and come up with the same thing. Does anyone know if I need to go with a different shroud? The mounting holes on the new radiator will line up for the inline 6 though. I also noticed the radiator to be a slight bit taller. This is also the same issue with the regular oe replacement.

Could you fabricate a bracket of sorts to adapt it to the new rad?

I'm having the SAME issue...1992 truck an all...

I'm debating on welding some small tabs on the radiator with holes to mount everything up with, OR...

Simply drill 2 holes in the radiator fan shroud and ziptie the ****...

Ok got it mounted. Go to the hardware store and get cornering braces in mirror hanging isle (ace hardware) then fit up some nuts and bolts and washers. Make sure to get enough washers to space out from radiator. you dont want to wear down or crush the fins. Drill 2 holes in rad for the brackets and mount the shroud. i would post pics. if you need them shoot me your email. fyi it is a rough time mounting your fan with the tight fit now. total time 45 min because of the fan. note: leave the belt on so the pulley on the water pump does not move and the holes stay lined up
