it the one in the 70's
I think 73 or 74
Has to do with one is a higher wattage than the other.
Higher wattage for all but the ones that light the HIGH
BEAM INDICATOR and the MIL along with CRUSE CONTROL
They seem too bright with the high wattage lamp.
But all the side lighting for the cluster makes it easier to see at night.

Your your welcome.

Most of the packages have the wattage on them.

Also if doing the full cluster you can save some money
if you go to a place that has the lamps in a bulk package.
It's somewhere around 1/2 the cost as getting a bunch of
2 packs. I think it's 10 or 12 in the bulk pack.

I know ... old thread .... but I was looking for info on what number bulb my 07 SuperDuty uses for instrumentation lighting (dash lights) & I couldn't find anything positive here.
I just changed a couple of my bulbs ... Oil/Fuel & Temp/Batt backlighting & they were #74 1.4 that were blown.
MAN were those little numbers on those little "wheat" bulbs hard to see !

I have a mis of 73 & 74 lamps.
I put the lower wattage in things like the Cruse Control lamp and the
flashers and what not. I put the higher wattage in the illumination lamps
so I can see the gauges in the dark better and still would lie a but more for
the sides of the cluster. All the side gauges in the cluster are dark face
with the speedometer and tach being white. So it harder to see the fuel level
in the dark along with the 2 temp indicators
