How about bringing this to the attention of FTF in the other forum and see what he thinks?

 

Probably would lend itself well to racing but without heat to it there might be driveability problems with a DD.

 

It looks cool, but I can't imagine that it works very well. It looks like it was made by someone who had made a set of exhaust headers, finished a case of beer, then said, "I could make an intake manifold too."

The entry angle for cylinders 2 & 5 is not very good from a flow standpoint, and cylinders 3 & 4 are even worse. And as Harte3 said, without heat, this would not work well on the street. You would have puddles of fuel in the low areas, especially cylinders 3 & 4 - those look more like drain traps than intake runners.

someone paid 250 bucks for a homemade intake.... my god, i have ocean front property in missouri for 20 bucks an acre!.

 

im looking for one of the offy 4bbl manifolds if anyone has one for sale.
