well me and the truck made it back friday afternoon around 4 1556 mi in three days . over night around madison fl off of I 10 Wednesday night at super 8 + a Denny's next door. not bad room for 45 dollars + free breakfast at denny's .then rolled in at daytona at car shop around 10:00 am part from auto zone didnot come in till late Wednesday evening so the shop didnot have time to put it on. got help rolling up on trailer. left daytona around 11:00 Thursday. overnighted again in dothan at hampton inn real nice beds an great breakfast.well worth the money for a good nites rest. i'll half to get a shop in town to repl the flywheel. because i pulled a muscle in my left shoulder about 4 weeks ago . i can't work overhead right now. so life cares on .

Glad you made it back & hope your shoulder gets better. You're gonna' have to make shorter "shake-down" trips before getting adventurous & making long hauls. Although I gotta' admit, traveling for me is just an excuse to pig out at Denny's anyway.

what is so bad last year i drove to pigeon forge for the f-100 nats. then in nov. the wife and i went to panama city. for the emerald coast cruize an no problems then either when i got home i had to fix the garage door springs, the lawn blower broke and then the belt on the mower broke. then tuesday night on the way home from a bike meeting the tour pak frame broke on the harley.hopefully by this weekend everything will be over. i think the truck did not want to go on this trip ??

Were the f-100 nationals in pigeon forge worth the trip. Been wanting to go up there and check out the trucks but wondered if the trip is worth it.
