Rode in a 2012 and those adjustable headrests are the bomb.

I can live with the fx4sticker change, but I really want those headrests...I drive a lot. I don't think it's advisable to trade my old 2011 for a 2012 because of that though.

Don't you lose the hydroboost brakes by going to a 2012? I say just swap headrests.

I agree Shane...I'd rather have my Hydroboost brakes on my F-350. I wonder how much the new headrest is. You can get one for the driver's seat and I bet its cheaper than the trade in bath you'd take .

I am jealous of nobody's truck. I bought exactly what I want and how could someone have something better?

This is the best thing that I own.

My truck has every option available. Nothing I didn't get...those headrests are a new addition......not that big of a deal..just making a note.

Shane do you have a 250 or 350?
The 250 lost hyroboost in 2011.
The vacuum seem to work fine though for what the 250 can handle.
It sags bad long before the brakes are at risk.

2012 Duallies will still have hydroboost... anyone with a 2012 F-350 SRW Pickup?

Our source was the changes for the 2012 model year, which is part of the order guide on the Ford website.

Hydroboost gives your brakes its power assist using the the power steering pump output instead of the vaccum booster shown in the pic above. Vaccum assist is more refined since brakes are more important and when turning you can loose power steering with hydroboost but ultimate braking power is better. Diesels in paticular have been running hydroboost for years due to lack of vaccum. My question is how serious of a vaccum pump is Ford running?

You can kinda see the accumulator cylinder on the bottom right here:

(I tried to crop the picture to show it better, but I am recycling another image, this one I took because I was wondering what the green capped 3rd port was supposed to do on my 2nd fuel filter... the new ones only have 2 ports!)
