Stuck crewcab door broken cab lights.
The crew cab I bought has a stuck rear door drivers side. The searchs I have done say to fix the wiring harness.
My doors are manual.
I have taken the panel off the inside. It looks like things are hooked up but the door is not opening from either handle. Any suggestions? other than cutting a hole in the exterior of the door to get at the latch..
On another note I was looking at the crew cab clearance and marker lights available on LMC. Does anyone know a napa partnumber for a replacement?

Get a can of spray lubricant. Spray it in all the locks, latches, hinges etc. All my doors sucked until I did that and know they work great. My same door got stuck so I had to pull the rear seat and the panel. It ended up being the opening rod being jammed down. So I hit it with my hand and it fixed it. That particular door doesnt lock but ive had 3 time snow where I thought I was locked out because none of the 3 keys I have or had made will catch the lock to open the door on either side. Good luck.

fordpride thanks for the part number I will order those monday.
As for the door.
A few things had happened, all of which were due to neglect from the PO.
1st was the door was taken apart not put together properly.
2nd the exterior hand looked to have had a gorilla hanging on it as it was bent and the metal was split.
With a bright light in the door I found that the return spring on the plunger for the exterior lever was gone and the pivot was so rusted that the mechanism was not able to return. I was able to force the lever back to a normal position and open the door with a new handle on the inside. In anticipation of this repair I had a new exterior handle ready. After fix a few little things and putting it back together it works like new! In fact the door closes so nice I suspect this was broken along time with the PO!
