rear sump oil pan question

I have a 68 302 and want to change the oil pan from a front sump to a rear sump, a spectra oil pan #FP01A looks to be the one I need but shows no provision for the dip stick. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You will have to use a dip stick going through the side of the block, found in the later models. Other than that, you may have to find or modify a pan to accept a dip stick through the side.

thanks, looks like a pan from a 81 E-100 will work, it has a provision for a dip stick on the side.
