Anyone have the intake manifold gasket set part# ??
Also, what does the "set" come with besides the 2 manifold gaskets?

Ford makes revisions, sometimes it is not a physical change in the part, but the number changes (and the old one is obsolete).

Thanks Bismic, Is this number here outdated too or a different kit?

Not sure on that one. My parts list has it for earlier year models, but again - not sure.

I list it as having:
O-ring for manifold, turbo drain tube o-rings, EGR coolant hose, EGR gaskets and o-ring, turbo mounting bolts, turbo oil supply gasket and o-ring

I also list this for the intake gaskets only 3C3Z-9439-AA. Not 100% sure of that either (sorry).

The company I work for recently hired a new head of engineering, he came from Ford. He instituted a new part numbering system for us that he said was used in his previous life. The very last digit is a revision code, every new iteration or change to the part bumps the letter up. So "H" would be newer than "E", "J" would be newer than "H", etc.

I agree that BE was superceded by BH. I just do not find that same info for BJ superceding BH. BH shows to be the current part number.

Need to be careful - I just found a note that the new gasket kits actually have all of the gaskets EXCEPT the Intake gasket.

I would call Tousley or Horizon and ask them on the phone.

There are a few parts (like this) that are confusing in the parts systems!

Doing a quick google search

3c3z-9433-bh says it is replaced by-

3c3z-9433-bj

Searching on this site they list 3c3z-9433-bh twice, once with dashes and once without, and they both have different prices. And one of them says "GAS" in the description. That makes absolutely zero sense.

Thanks 1badhabit!!

One thing I just found is my list of parts when I did the head studs.

I bought BOTH 3C3Z-9433-BJ and 3C3Z-9439-AA.

3C3Z-9433-BJ did not have the intake gaskets!! So I bought two of 3C3Z-9439-AA

Looks like the revised kits had the intake gaskets removed.

Holy cow, you're not kidding bismic, very confusing!

Looking through FordParts.com, the BJ kit is $11 less than the BH kit. Which would kind of make sense if they made a change to the kit (and changed the rev letter) to remove the intake manifold o-rings. Also, they show zero of the BH and 17 of the BJ.

Boy, some parts drawings to accompany the part numbers sure would help.

Oh wow, can Ford make it any more confusing. So I would need both of the part numbers to do an EGR/oil cooler?
