So, since you are obviously more qualified than most of us, just curious if a little extra is going to cause any real issues? Today 01:02 PM

Yes, that was posted on 2-10-2012. This thread is a dead horse that was resurrected by someone who posted to it without checking dates....

I tried to get the mods to create a post challenge feature in the forum software so you'd have to tick a box acknowledging you knew the age of the thread if you were responding to a thread with no activity for over 180 days. Other forums have it but unfortunately this one doesn't have that option in the software...

Probably did a Google search for a certain topic that brought him directly to the thread. It happens from time to time because your first thought when you get to the thread is that it's current.

Well gosh, golly, I guess in consideration of the great mysteries of the cosmos it doesn't matter.
Guess its just a lesson learned that next time I'll endeavor to be more careful and not ask questions from someone that posted something 5yrs ago.

Yup and I'm pretty sure if the owners manual would have been cracked this could have been avoided

The official word from FORD is that the owners manual was a misprint.. capacity is 13 quarts.
