So anyone know where I can replace my factory exhaust pipes in the Austin/Elgin area at a decent price looking to do true duals with cab/rear axel exit. They are in need of updating they are 40 yrs old
to the op, u could order the entire pipe. they'll come in pieces, and u could put them together and install them urself. tat way, it gives u the option to shop around for the best product wif the best price best suited for ur truck.
I hear yeah, my stepdad has a friend at firestone in bastrop that is going to hook me up with a custom setup. They do the county's patrol cars there so I'll go that way. I just wish I could but those walker pipes from autozone and then just bend em where I want so I can dump te pipes right efore the rear axel
I stay away from that "firestone" in Bastrop. It is actually called Bastrop Automotive. They tried to push ball joints on me I DID NOT need. Claimed mine were bad when I went in for a front end alignment...told them ball joints were an easy fix and I left. I went to Andre's for my alignment. Now, he is a stand-up guy...
Trust me when I was stationed in Seattle I had an issue with firestone too. The only reason I am going with these guys is cause they worked on my moms truck before 74f100 and they work on the patrol cars for the county so my step dad knows the guy that going to weld fir me
sounds cool when u got a hookup like tat. i hear y'all bout tat firestone thing. when i bought my truck bout a year ago, it came wif those firestone tires. 6 frigging firestone tires.
now i'm not being ungrateful. at least i got tires, but i cant stand firestones. dang it. wish i had the money to buy me some michelins. unless one of u kind folks can recommend a good load e tire tat dont cost an arm and a leg. lol.
