Installing overhead mgp console in 99 xl
In the process of adding an overhead console with mpg to my super duty. I need to connect a wire for the "injector cycle duty", where can i find this? I pulled the pcm where it was supposed to be either pin 9 or pin 43 and there is nothing there. Thanks

The 99 F250 does not have a wire that specifically carries an "injector duty cycle" signal to the PCM. You'd have to tap off one of the injector firing signal wires to get that.
PCM pin 9 is for the fuel gauge sender, pin 43 is the Data Output Link for the OHC, if equipped.

Update for mpg 2 door console install
Well the 2002 -2004 2 door console with mpg install is done in my 1999 f250 superduty 5.4 xl. This is not as complicated and expensive is it may sound. There is a guy by bird who sells these and it CAN get expensive , even 100 dollars for the wiring book for the mpg to work. I just went to wrekn yard and got a console with computer for 40 bucks and was able to cut off the harness conector that plugs into the console and made the rest of the harness . You can find all over the net how to cut the liner and wire the temp sender, but to wire the mpg computer into an xl, there is not a whole lot of info. There are 3 things required for mpg to work, speed sensor, fuel tank level sender, fuel flow. All these are at the pcm PINS, and not always in the harness. So i just unpluged pcm harness and drilled slot and added these wires into the plug harness and it is working. Here are the pin numbers for the 1999 5.4 superduty
At pcm on drivers side near fender well
pin 9 yellow/white wire = fuel tank sender
pin 58 gray/black wire = speed sensor(this is only wire that was in pcm harness)
pin43 orange/light green = data output link fuel flow

Question I too have a 99 f250 super duty and am interested in installing the 2002-2004 overhead console. My question is will mounting tub fit the contour of the roof line or are any modifications involved. I understand that the metal roof pan already has the required pin receptacles just curious as all the sellers state they console won't fir the 99-01 model trucks

Just an update. got the console installed a minor fitting problem but otherwise ok. The slots for the taps at the front were as stated in the correct places under the headliner and the tub snapped in place after trimming out the headliner. Problem is that the console shell is about two inches longer in the back that the slope of the headliner. This leaves a gap between the shell and the roof liner so I will have to figure out some kind of trim piece to fill it in. Wiring up the meter is next but overall satisfied and looks better than the hole in the headline that the previous owner left!
