Small Update on '78 F150 + Header Questions.

Well I found out my gas tank was leaking, so I ordered a new gas tank from LMC. I also had a rusted right rear leaf spring hanger so that is on its way also. Pics to come later this week. The final thing I ordered this week, was a 4" lift kit. Ill post before and after pics of all these things. The small thing I did this week was finally put my rear bumper I got from the junkyard for $125. I saw some of these new going for anywhere between $300 and $500. Let me know what ya think.

Before:

After:
<a href="http://s1154.photobucket.com/albums/p536/keiths78f150/?action=view&amp;current=Resampled_2012-08-14_09-51-03_860.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/p536/keiths78f150/Resampled_2012-08-14_09-51-03_860.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Also, my manifolds are rusty, ugly and leaking. I am going to get some headers, but I am unsure what to get for my 351m. Suggestions?

I have a 400 and went with the Flowtech headers (Holley performance brand) and they work great and made good power

I like the looks of the bumper. Did you have to move the exhaust tips down at all for it to fit?

As for headers, here ya go:1978 FORD F-150 6.6L/400 Ford Modified Headers - 4WD Drivetrain - SummitRacing.com

I'd personally go with the fenderwells. If they didn't cost $500 some odd dollars for my 390 I'd get them.
