I have a Superchips Cortex programmer. It's about six months old and I was using it on my '99 7.3. But I think it will work with my 2008 6.4.

Does anybody use this programmer on their truck? What do you think of it?

Explain?? Why wouldn't you trust it?

 

Im not saying this is the 100% fact but i'll pas this on from what I was told, the "shift on the fly tuners and other cheap tuners only adjust the engine, when you change something with the engine then the transmission needs to be tuned to accommodate for the different power levels, and as a chevy mechanic I have seen how some of the cheap tuners not affect the allison transmission but with thousands of miles of just the wrong timing/ fuel set bore a hole through the piston.

when it comes to selecting a tuner with this drive line more or less your going to spend money look for my tuner question thread of help for finding the right tuner the guys here will easily voice their opinion of tuners that we like and dislike

 

cheap tuners just dump fuel.
