ADVICE NEEDED. Rear gear housing

I have 06 6.0. I was changing stc fitting on high pressure oil pump. And I dropped a 45 torx bit down gear housing on rear bolt. It is one of short bits. fell out of end of socket. it fell right by gear and went down i heard it clank a few times on way down. Sounded like made it pretty far. I drained oil and fished around with magnet didnt find it. I'm looking for someone who has had the rear of these engines off and can tell me if it would hang up somewhere. or good chance it make it to pan. I turned motor over by hand and no binding. Not sure what I should do. Makes me nervous too leave it . I really think it might find its way to magnet on plug. but not if theres any kind of pocket up high. I dont want it to jump into gears and cause more problems. any advice.
