Chevy took the gloves off. How will ford respond?

For the record -any cargo trailer rated above 10,000 lb require CDL >>> RV are exempt.
I think there is more than mpg to it. Several Fords in hotshot business I have seen in previous years were parked on the side of the freeway, or on the hook.
I drive the most reliable to date 7.3 l, but almost each trip require some repairs. Make it a coolant tank, heater core or fuel valve orings. Not a big deal when you are around home, but harder to fix on the desert 300 miles from the city.

Not sure it's the same article but this one on Autoblog probably tells mostly the same story:
Silverado Super Bowl ad may have benefited Ford more than Chevy [w/video]
And here's one from The Car Connection:

Class A CDL is required if combined GVWR is over 26,000 AND trailer is over 10,000 lbs.
Class B CDL is required for single units with GVWR over 26000 and allowed to tow up to 10,000 lbs.
Class C CDL with appropriate endorsement is required for vehicles that wouldn't otherwise need a CDL but require an endorsement like hazmat, passenger, or tanker.
Also, a CDL would not be required if combined GVWR is over 26,000 but trailer is under 10,000, as long as the GVWR of the tow vehicle is under 26,000.

What get me mad about GM's financial bailout, is that its kinda like they made it sound like people were about to be jobless, plants are shutting down, end of GM...... then shortly after, they're one-upping everyone with warranty, and trying to be #1 ?!?!?!?!
Like WTF, if they cant run a business, let them rot. There should have been a rule, that other competing companies also automatically were offered the same deal.
Statistically, Chevs do last longer than fords, but unfortunately the part they dont tell you, is that
1. Fords are used for work and fleet far more.
2. Fords last higher miles, so technically they don't last as long, but they travel further.
3. More people that own fords own trailers of some type.
Soooo, they chevs last longer, as long as you don't hook anything on them, leave them sitting in the driveway, and don't get in an accident, they are not as strong as a ford truck .
Ford and chev trucks used to be very very similar, but now the chev is lighter, and the ford is very heavy and serious. No comparison.
I mean, they look similar and drive similar, but deep down inside, the ford engineering is kicking gm right in the groin.
Same thing with toyotas 1/2 ton. They claim its the best, flip it over and it looks more comparable to a ranger than an f150.

Only in CA.
Again only in CA.
Hazmat and passenger require a CDL. Tanker doesn't.
No, a CDL is NOT required if the combined GVWR is under 26,000 lbs even if the trailer is over 10,000 lbs. (Unless a special endorsement is needed like hazmat, passenger, tanker, etc)
Class C CDL with appropriate endorsement is required for vehicles that wouldn't otherwise need a CDL but require an endorsement like hazmat, passenger, or tanker.

GM can twist the numbers however they want to but the fact is Ford is #1 when it comes to trucks.
Unfirtunately Ford has cut quality and raised prices so I am not sure how much longer they will continue to be number 1.

And not only with the trucks, fords cars are getting awesome and starting to steal the spotlight.

I had a 2005 Ford Focus and the road noise and handling was worse than a 1995 Honda Civic, both comparable cars, but the Ford was 10 years newer.
