Ok, but I already pointed it out earlier. But hey if posting that made you feel good.

But back to the topic. I would love to have a titan tank but honestly I don't see the point of spending few hundred of dollars just so I don't have to go to the pump so often. Cause I don't see how it could save you money.

My last 10 fuel ups have been: 260.2, 421.6, 410.6, 478.0, 377.5, 422.5, 409.7, 316.9, 352.0, 364.4. The last fillup, 260.2 was a dirt biking trip with bikes and gear in the bed and more bikes and gear in the toy hauler. The 377.5 was a fishing trip with gear in the bed and a 21ft bass boat on the back. All others were unladden. Right after the 316.9 fillup is when I had the TSB 11-5-17 applied. Notice a difference? I did.

The real question here is how do you find free time to do fun stuff like bike trips and fishing? You must not have kids? haha

Lucky I guess.

Actually, I have 1 daughter going on 2yrs. Can't wait to take her camping, dirbiking, SCUBA and fishing when she's older. She's ready to go fishing.

Yep, It helps that momma supports my hobbies, of course, these were all hobbies I had before we got together. Then again, she hasn't seen my wishlist for my Jeep.

Congrats to you too.

When you tow a heavy trailer with a stock truck, a 4.30 rear axle and a 38 gallon tank you can see as far as you will get before you have to refuel. Besides, the big tank is about convience and at times about getting to a better fuel enviornment, like a different state where fuel may cost less or be free of soy bean juice or whatever the heck is in bio. Now, if they would just let me fill up without restarting the pump. On edit: it's a bit more than a "few" hundred dollars. And worth every cent.

I fully agree. Not to mention when the pump kicks out the tank is virtually full. You might squeeze in another $2 as opposed to standing in the cold with a stock tank and trickling in the last $25.

TSB 11-5-17 was the fix to 11B23 update that had allot of trucks throwing engine lights. There were a number of trucks that had no problem but allot that did so Ford told it's dealers to stop applying the 11B23 update for a couple months until they worked out the issues. The result was the TSB11-5-17 flash.

Hell, prior to me doing the harpoon mod on my stock tank, it would stop easily 5 gallons shy of full and take another 15min+ to get it full. After doing the harpoon mod it's about half gallon shy of full and only takes me another 3 or so tries before it's at the top of the filler neck.
