So I put an AFE intake on my truck and it ran like a four cylinder. So I pulled it off and put the stock one back on. My truck still seems really weak. Is there some kind of a computer reset I can do. I have tried disconnecting the batteries and that didn't help.

Before you disconnect the batteries again, drive it and see if it sets any codes. Sounds like you opened a can of worms in the wiring harness somewhere. Did you get the MAF sensor reinstalled and connected correctly? Also, being an 04 it could have an 03 or 04 motor. Can you give us the production date of the vehicle OR do you know where the ICP sensor is located--passenger side valve cover or under the turbo?

The production date is 08/03 I believe its the early motor. I did unhook both batteries. Boost levels go up to 19psi but make very little power. The egt's get high too.

Perhaps you have a loose boot at one of the CAC (Charge Air Cooler) connections:

turbo to passenger-side CAC tube
passenger-side CAC tube to intercooler
intercooler to driver-side CAC tube
driver-side CAC tube to intake elbow

The boots crack sometimes. You could have inadvertantly separated a boot during the exchange of the intake (especially on the driver-side).

I too encourage checking for codes - a loose or cracked boot won't necessarily set a code though so make sure to check those boots!

Good luck.

Bottom line, the 6.0 doesn't need an a/m intake unless you are making mega horse power. Leave well enough alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
