Fuel Tank not Venting

1969 F100. FE 360.

Fuel tank is not venting and first thought was that I had the wrong fuel cap. Cap I have now is NOT vented and every part retailer I speak with tells me that I need the NON Vented cap. Problem is that I don't see any EEC vent valve on the in cab tank. I assume (but am not positive) that the tank is original.

If it is the original tank-- where/how does the tank vent? Gas fumes are seeping into the cabin and I need to get this worked out. Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks.

You need a vented cap.

Autozone has a standard, vented cap for your 69 for $5, and a locking, vented cap for $10...not including sales tax. Go for it.
