they could have called a great little V6 that takes a lickin and keeps on tickin, but i don't think the patent office people would be very happy with that one.

Maybe we should have a "What's a better name than ecoboost?" contest?

A few people call theirs "EgoBoost", but that might not be a host seller...

It seems to me that Ford did a good job with the name. Apparently, it has good name recognition, which is one of the things Ford was going for.

More people understand what a twin-turbo V6 is than the latest brand-name for a rather classic setup.</p><p>Truck owners on the other hand, probably know what Ecoboost means even if they're driving a Fiat - LOL</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
