Can anyone elaborate on the DTC's?

P1639: FORD Vehicle ID block not programmed or corrupt

P163A: FORD: Generator B control circuit

P0603 Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error

I've been having some battery issues first thing in the morning, but it starts and runs fine the rest of the day.

I just replaced my batteries yesterday. So no check brake system message for you?

I've got check battery, engine & ABS lights. System check says "Check Charging System."

Just seems like a lot of DTC's for some week batteries.

Autozone/Napa and others should be able to load test the batteries and check the charging and starting circuits for free.

I'd do that right away.

Lube Tech at dealer says its most likely the alternator. The CEL, battery & ABS light along with a slight odor lead him to that. He said its most likely overcharging the batteries. Their diesel tech is looking at it now.

Hopefully it is the alternator since that's covered under warranty and if the alternator is causing battery failure, then batteries would be covered too.

If it is just the batteries..the 100 month ones are on sale with a 30.00 rebate.

Know where I can get the rebate form?

Batteries were bad... Tuner file most likely became corrupt because of bad batteries. Truck thinks it should have dual alternators when it only has one.
