Personally I consider "Made in Canada" to be on par with "Made in USA". I can't think of any country other than Canada that I'd rather share a border with- They sell us more oil than any other country, haven't fought us in several hundred years, and they even got us our booze fix during prohibition. If I had to move out of the US, I'd go to Kanata if I could.
I hope current events in the US don't create a condition whereby it becomes a 1-way relationship and Canada is taken advantage of by the US.
I'm sure you Canadian FTEers will claim that's already the case. If so, kiss my US-made a.....never mind.

Maybe we could trade get Mexico and Australia to trade places.............We would have really cool neighbors to the North AND South, and Mexico would be on the other side of the world, surrounded by water.
Little harder to sneak across the Pacific, than the Rio Grande.

As a first step, maybe we can slow down the Rio Grand river, then intro duce some crocks froms Australia????

Ford trucks made in Canada are still more American than toyota trucks made in America. I'm getting tired of explaining to my friends that toyota trucks are about as "made in America" as a patio set from WalMart. It comes in a box that says made in China, so even though I assemble it in my backyard it's still not made here.
I just ran into this a month ago looking for a new pocket knife. The good old brands like Gerber and Buck aren't all made in America anymore. It's hard to find a knife that is. I finally bought a Kershaw that is but not all Kershaws are. Some things like trucks and pocket knives should be made here. IMO pickups and America go together, driving a foreign truck is like burning the flag!

I love seeing "Made in USA" on my trucks, and I honestly don't mind seeing "Made in Canada" either, but much to my dismay my current truck is branded with "Made in Mexico" I was not happy when I read that.... It's the oldest truck I've owned thus far and its the only one that's been made in Mexico... It makes it a little harder to love, but it's still a Ford!
As for knives; Benchmade Blue, Black, and fru-fru Gold-Class kinves are all made in America and laser cut, only their Red-class are from Tiawan.

I had a bumper sticker on my last truck that said;
"Remember Pearl Harbor?
Don't buy a Toyota"
The Prius owners around here didn't like it much...

They're a pretty hard crowd to please. I don't even try, just tell 'em to get out of the way cuz if I hit their bumper cars I probably won't even feel it.
On a related note, I find that Priused drivers always hit the brakes for no reason out of nowhere, not sure if it's beacuse of the helium in their craniums or the knowledge that they aren't wasting gas when they do it. Either way they're friggin wierd.
