MNTBUGGY - really nice work, things are looking really good. Would you happen to have anymore pics of the floorpan replacement and/or the center cab support replacement ? That will be coming up in about a month or so for me and I would love to see more details if possible.

Hey Mntbuggy - I was wondering if you could tell me about your disc brake set up. It doesn't appear that you went for an axle swap. Where did you get your set up from? I want to convert mine while the cab is still off. Thanks Mike

Just got back in town was playing at the lake. I got mine from bronco graveyard. For a Dana 44 you can get different kits. The only thing that you will have to do is figure out the mounting of the brake lines. I was working on that when I got side tracked on the wife's mustang. One of the days I will get back on it.

Good luck

Have you decided how much of a suspension lift and size of tires you are going to have?

I decided to go with a smaller wheel the ones that were on it were too wide once I got the front fenders on it. I sold them and picked up a set of steel wheels off a mid 80's truck. I think that I will probably use a 33-10.50x 15 tire on it. When I opened the front fenders up for the old wheel that will give me lots of room. The truck is still sitting in the back of the building waiting on finishing up the wife's mustang. It was next in line but by boy decided he wanted to build something also so I came across a 61 SWB Unibody. You can see it in the background. The mustang should be done this spring and on to the boys truck. I just buy a few parts here and there for the 66 so it will be ready when I actually get started on it again. Looking like it will be a Retirement project!!! Here are some pics as it sits now along with my other's in work.

Mine is still in Wyoming, coming next week. It has 30" tires. It is a F100 on a 79 F150 4x4 frame. It seems to have less clearance on the rear wheel. I assume I will need at least a 2" suspension lift.

I think the 2"-3" lift should be perfect. Thanks.

I cannot believe how nice the '66 4x4 short bed looks. I had made up my mind I was going to stick with the long bed but after seeing more photo's of yours not so sure anymore!
