Disco...... I dont even want to know how much crack I will have to smoke to like those colors. I think Im fairly set on what colors the trucks will be. The 1 part Ive been hunting for a while is a np203. Around here they hit the scrap yard a few weeks before I ask the person. The fella that bought my Bronco scrapped 3 good ones.

Your paint scheme of choice for the 77 250?? Still deciding what color my 70 F250 will be painted when I do the 67 Mercury Highboy restomod...something vintage 60's I am sure.
I have a buddy in Ohio who likely has a 203 or 5 laying around. Lemme see what he can do to help you out. sv

Wimbeldon white is an awesome color. My '71 4x4 I built many moons ago was Mojave Tan, also a classic Ford color from that era. It took a Best of Show at Pigeon Forge F-100 Supernats in 2000....paint was barely dry and the engine was not even broke in when I trailered it to the show. What a week that was.
White always looks good and always seems to show blemishes less than darker colors. Black accents are always easy and frankly are hard to beat for looks and durability. My very first truck was a 71 boxwood green F100. Definitley caught in the 70's but a special color to me. I think the 70 body/67 Mercury M250 will either be redone in boxwood green or the stock ice blue with a wimb white cab top. I have some time to decide. Off work sick today....ugh

Pictures of the '71?
I think my '94 finally sold me on the white/black scheme.
Since your sick, take a gander in this gallery of mine. Its a local yard.

Do you still have the "Screaming Cat"? I've got a '94 vintage 4.6L powered XR7 that someone (cough, family member) rolled for me three years ago. I keep hoping I'll find another Thunder Chicken or Putty Cat with a blown engine...to transplant the engine/tranny into. No luck so far....

From what I hear the old man wont come off of anything. Ive been up there twice & always run into his wife. Im sure a wad of cash would change his mind but then again from what I hear about that family, who knows.

Naw, I wish. Sold it in 92 and tried to buy it back several times from the dentist in Memphis who bought if from me - no telling where that sucker is now after 21 years. That 3.8 liter supercharged motor and a 5 speed was a blast. From 92 on, I started a long love affair with Grand Marquis and Crown Vickys (One stinkin Lincoln thrown in for good measure).
I miss that old Cat.........sigh

Thanks. NO real rush to it but I would like to get 2 for the truck (to have a spare) but I have yet to get a supercab truck for the cab. The fella that owns the one below has yet to ever get back to me.
At one time in its life it had a 460/C6, factory cruise, jump seats & some other cool stuff. I know it was used for towing as it had a trailer brake control in it. Up until about 2 years ago I knew where 4 SCs sat at within 10 miles of me & now this is the only one. Supercab on a 133" wb 4x4 frame, 6.9/7.3 IDI, OD, T19, 203/205 & D60s..... ya Im dreaming but I have a plan now.

That supercab is yummy!! Perhaps if we both walked down there waving some cash in his face he may come off of some of this nice old steel so we can preserve it for future generations. There is a guy who lives near me who is the same way, 35-40 nice old Fords just rotting to the ground. But everyone is going to "restore dad's old truck someday". Very sad.
