Pushing coolant out and heater blows cold

I have an 04 F-350 crewcab that is spilling coolant (not every time) and heater blows cold at cruising speeds but warm to hot when you let off or get in the pedal but then back to cold at cruising speed.

The truck has cold air intake, EGR delete and magnaflow turbo back exhaust.

The last time I drove the truck I was pulling a empty trailer and the heater issue came up 20-24 deg outside and then I loaded a blazer on the trailer and seemed to have heat on the trip home 24-32 deg outside but stopped to get something to drink and noticed coolant smell so checked it and it had spilled out of degrase bottle filled back up and drove about an hour still had heat and when checked no more spillage but then drove another 30min and still had heat but more spillage.

Any ideas what it could be

No Heat usually means No Coolant

Sounds like a possible head gasket issue

Sounds like it pukes undere High Boost/Hard acceleration

hows your oil cooler/EGR cooler do you have any gauges

have you pulled the EGR VALVE Out yet

is ur degas bottle filled to the NEW max line? ford updated tat line, and if u overfill, it will cause the degas bottle to puke too. i'm jus trying to rule out any possible paranoia. dont worry, i wave my magic wand around when its appropriate. lol

after hard driving, park ur car wif the nose on the down incline, then pull ur egr valve out and check around the valve and the valve housing if there is any moisture. however slight the moisture may be, it will suggest the egr cooler is out.

by tat time, it'll be best to change the oil cooler when ur changing out the egr cooler.

First let me tell you I know nothing about diesels I do ok on older gas engines but electronics and diesels I have not messed with much

The bottle has a min and max line it was filled to max line and still no heat.

It has EGR delete on it so I dont have an egr valve to pull or egr cooler.

try going to autozone, and they should be able to plug in their scanner to pull the codes. there might be codes even though the check engine light is not on. or if u got a scangauge 2, u can pull the codes urself. it's supposed to be free. autozone is not gonna charge u for tat.

wif the codes, u could come back here and we can help u out or u could do a google search on those codes and pinpoint the prob urself, so tat u can facilitate an efficient solution. it's also easier for the more experienced guys like benny here to give u a more definite answer.

either way, we're all here for u man. best of luck.

When my truck started making no front and rear heat it was the first sign I got that my head gaskets were blown. It would still make heat during moderate to heavy acceleration but that was it. 4 days later it overheated (guage read high only, no puking) for the first time driving to the dealer to be inspected.

When your truck got the egr delete, was the oil cooler replaced?
