4.6 Expedition??

I have a 4.6 and it's not powerful enough. Go with the next size at least.

4.6 Expedition??

We use ours as a daily driver and have been pleased so far. We pull a 19' ski boat in the summer and have had no problems with that either. It's not a racecar but I didn't buy it for that purpose anyway. It seems to be well built and has been reliable for the last 70,000 miles. The only problem I've seen is the EGR valve hung open for a while and had to be cleaned at about 55K. I recently swapped the tranny fluid and filter and there was very little sludge on the magnet. We get around 325 miles per tank of 87 and run both front and back A/C.

Hope this helps

4.6 Expedition??

I pull a camper with my 4.6 and have no problems whatsoever. I've been to the Ozarks in Missouri pulling the camper and aside that it isn't a Powerstroke, it does just fine. I get decent mileage too (16-18mpg). I did put a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit on it but I can't tell if it helps the power as much as the growl the engine now makes.
